Step 1
Up to six months, children do not like to dress at all, because it is not natural from the point of view of nature. To prevent the child from crying when dressing - swaddle him, use things that are not worn over his head.
Step 2
As soon as the child begins to sit and move actively, he notices clothes on him. After six months, he will learn to take off his socks or pull off the ends of the sliders.
When dressing your child after sleep or for a walk, always comment on your actions. This will help your child get used to the clothes and dress without tears.
Step 3
After a year and up to a year and a half, ask your baby to hold out arms or legs for you to dress. Explain that mittens should be worn on handles and boots should be worn on legs.
When putting on a sweater, ask to hold out the left or right handle and insert it into the sleeve. So the child will not only learn what his hands are called, but also help you dress him.
Step 4
At 1, 5 - 2 years, a child may experience a dressing crisis. He will protest that you dress him - undress him, start to be capricious and cry while dressing. This stage is the beginning of the formation of independence. Show him how to take off mittens and a hat after a walk, let him unbutton the Velcro on his boots. At this age, the child may already learn to unfasten the large zipper on the jacket. Also at this time, he will begin to put on and take off his parents' shoes. It is still difficult for him to put on his boots, because they fit more tightly on the leg.
Step 5
At 2 years old, while potty training, teach your child to take off his pants and underpants. To do this, tell them that you need to grab the pants by the belt and pull them down. Show that you need to lower not only the front but also the back. You can already start teaching how to lift your pants back after the pot, but you still have to fix everything. At this age, you can teach a child to put on a hat correctly or take off a jacket with unbuttoned buttons. You can also show your two-year-old where to put things. And he will be happy to clean up his clothes after a walk. At 2, 5 years old, teach your child to put on socks and shoes on his feet. Also at this age, he should already undress himself completely.

At 3 years old, a child needs to be taught how to put on pants, a jacket or a jacket. But it is too early to demand that he not confuse front and back. You can show your baby how the buttons are fastened. And, perhaps, he will learn to button larger buttons on his own. A child at this age will already be able to raise and lower a small zipper, but he will not yet be able to hook its ends.
Step 7
The most difficult thing for a child is laces. It is possible to teach the craft of tying shoelaces only by the age of 5-6. Take your time with this matter, the child himself will express a desire. After all, not even all adults know how to tie their shoelaces.
