Learning to dance contributes to the formation of a child's flexibility, coordination, a sense of rhythm, provides him with a uniform physical load on the main muscle groups. Dance is beautiful movements, the art of controlling your body and subtly feeling the music, the ability to openly express your feelings.
Instructions
Step 1
The baby makes his first attempts to dance by the age of one, when he starts to walk. But the first dance lessons can be given to the baby long before that, as soon as he starts holding his head well. To do this, try taking the baby in your arms and spinning with him in a dance to melodious music. Thus, the baby will gradually learn to correlate the dance movements with the melody. When the baby is already standing by himself, holding on to the support, he will be able to make independent rhythmic movements to the beat of the music.
Step 2
Show your baby simple dance moves using accessible and understandable images (bugs, horses, natural phenomena) to develop his imitative abilities. Encourage the baby, dance with him, applaud him after the dance.
Step 3
It's great if you have a piano or other musical instrument at home, on which you can play melodies for your baby to dance. In addition to modern, select classical and folk music, use melodies of different musical tempos. In those days when the polka, march, waltz, lullaby sounded, it was natural.
Step 4
Teach your kid to hear music, feel it, he should get used to the fact that music is not a background. Special games will help you organize your child's attention. For example, when the melody ends, the child must stop. The familiar game of "cat and mouse" will help you solve a number of important musical, motor and psychological problems. Music sounds for "mice" - "creeping", and the child must become this "mouse". Then another music ("cat") starts to sound - and a powerful change of reaction takes place. The game organizes the child's attention: the “cats” cannot run, start attacking before the “cat's” music sounds, and the “mice” cannot rush to run away from them before the music again informs them about it. Attempts at such a reincarnation lay the foundations of self-regulation in the baby.
Step 5
Do exercises with your toddler to help develop coordination. it is very important for the dance. For example, copy the movements of the fish, the pose of a heron, a swallow. Do not forget about jumping: jump with the baby alternately, first on one, then on two legs, with different variations.
Step 6
Dancing requires flexibility in your body, so make time for gymnastics. Stretch your muscles with specific exercises. When the baby grows up a little, at about 3-4 years old, enroll him in an art school, dance studio or school. The skills he learned with you will be very useful to him.
