Children's parties take place at any time of the year. And every time the parents face the question - what to wear on the child so that he looks smart and feels good. For an ordinary kindergarten matinee or family celebration, you can buy something simple, but more elegant than casual clothes. For girls, it can be a bright woolen, half-woolen or cotton dress, decorated with embroidery or appliqué, for boys - an elegant suit with trousers and a jacket for winter, or a bright cotton dress in the summer heat. If you are going to a street party, then you may need a carnival costume.

Instructions
Step 1
First of all, find out if a carnival costume competition is planned for the holiday and what it is dedicated to. Mermaids and other sea inhabitants will look best on Neptune Day, on the Day of fairy tales or the birthday of some writer - fairy-tale characters and heroes of works. On New Year's Eve, you can do anything, just like at the city carnival.
Step 2
Ask the child who he would like to be. This will help not only to dress him in an appropriate outfit, but also to find out the direction of his personality, desires and interests. You can, of course, buy a ready-made suit. But in this case, it may turn out that someone else will come in exactly the same suit. Therefore, it is better to dream up and build something original.
Step 3
Dig through the closets. Surely there will be a dark training suit for a cat, a colored shirt for Ivanushka, a broken umbrella for a bat. Ready-made things only need to be supplemented. As for the umbrella - just remove it from the needles, cut a hole for the head and finish it. There is probably a handkerchief for Alyonushka in your closet. You can quickly make a long skirt out of two colored shawls, just fasten them together and pick up a belt. And if the scarves are light and there are a couple of beautiful brooches, you can quickly turn a little daughter into an ancient Greek goddess by simply chipping them on the shoulders and tightening them with a belt. The scarf is also suitable for a musketeer's cloak.
Step 4
Do not get lost if you happen to be on a street party and the child is without a suit. The material you need is always at your fingertips. Long grass blades can be used to make a native skirt by tying the blades of grass to a thicker one, which acts as a belt. In a critical situation, a large burdock will replace a musketeer's collar, and large yellow flowers will quite pass for hussar epaulettes. For the princess, you can make a crown from dandelions or any other flowers. The stalk of the reeds is quite capable of becoming a musketeer's sword, and the leaves are a mermaid's skirt.
Step 5
If you yourself are going to organize a children's party in the yard or in the country, make sure that guests and their parents can quickly make costumes. Prepare whatman paper, colored paper, laces, braid, unnecessary brooches, scraps of fabric and other small things that are unnecessary in everyday life, but can please your young guests. Explain to them what plants can be picked for costume items.
