It is always a pleasure to receive a handmade gift: it is initially unique and unique. The gifts made by the children cause special joy and gratitude. And for parents, this is another reason to be proud of their son or daughter.
Most often, "men's" gifts are made for a birthday or Defender of the Fatherland Day. There are many options: you can draw or glue a postcard suitable for the holiday out of colored paper, decorating it, for example, in the form of a tie or some other purely masculine object. Or you can make something unusual like a salt dough keychain or a frame for a family photo.
DIY keychain
First, you need to prepare salted dough for modeling: add flour to a mixture of one glass of salt, half a glass of water and a tablespoon of vegetable oil, knead a homogeneous dough. Then, you can mold any figure from it: a ball, a car, a rocket, a star, etc. … (it all depends on the hobbies of the dad), make a hole for the ringlet. Dry the finished figurine in the oven at a low temperature. It remains to color the keychain, insert the key ring - and the original gift is ready.
Gift with a photo
Dad, due to his busyness, usually spends a little time with the children, so a frame or bookmark with a family photo can be a good gift for him. They can be made from thick cardboard, the difference will be in size and design.
It is better to paint the frame for the photo, then glue it over with figures of objects related to the profession or hobby of the dad. On the back wall, make a stand of thick cardboard or a loop of strong thread.
If your dad likes to read or uses a diary every day, a homemade bookmark will come in handy. Thick cardboard should be pasted over on both sides with colored paper, on top of which light rectangles of a smaller size than the bookmark itself should be glued: the first should be pasted over with children's or family photographs, on the second one should write warm words and wishes. Decorate the bookmark with a ribbon (or cords) at the top of the craft, which is threaded into a hole made with a hole punch or awl. The value of such gifts is that they will always remind of home and family.
Printed T-shirt
Another gift idea is a printed T-shirt. A child can paint a light monochromatic T-shirt with paints or fabric markers. To prevent the bottom layer from staining during the drawing process, you need to put a sheet of thick paper between the front and back of the T-shirt. You can apply a drawing on the same sheet, then it will be enough to circle it on the surface of the T-shirt. To fix the pattern, the T-shirt must be ironed with an iron without steam.
