A letter to a friend is always a special message, full of warmth and sincere joy. Today, when the Internet has practically become our second hand, we have the opportunity to exchange messages whenever we want and in any quantity.
But the reverent attitude to paper letters, so familiar to our grandmothers and parents, has not disappeared anywhere. We just forgot how, as a child, we loved to write colorful notes to our friends, and putting them in an envelope, not forgetting to put some bead or a golden maple leaf … The moment itself was full of mystery and expectation.

Step 1
First, remember - there are no rules for writing a letter to a friend! This is an absolutely free and spontaneous flight of your thoughts and feelings, allowing any form of writing.
Step 2
Choose a suitable piece of paper and a pen. If you are a creative person, then you can use unusual colorful sheets and colored paste / pencil. If you are an adult and reserved person, take a white sheet (lined notebook or A4) and a dark colored pen.
Step 3
Sit back and focus a little. So to speak, get into a lyrical state. To do this, imagine your friend, remember his face, the first memory of him or the most characteristic color.
Step 4
Greet your friend as you would normally when you meet. This can be the most unusual or playful expression. For example, "Hi dude, haven't seen each other for a long time!" Your friend, after reading the first phrase of greeting, should immediately experience the emotions associated with you and tune in to the wave of your communication.
Step 5
This is followed by the body of the letter. You can write about everything here. First, tell us about yourself: what's new with you, about interesting events in the circle of your mutual acquaintances. What changes have occurred in your worldview, and new ideas and designs have appeared. Or it may be simple - to describe your mood, state of mind. For example, you have moved to another city, and what feelings visit you most often, what do you think about.
Step 6
In addition to presenting relevant information, you can recall your common funny experiences. Write: “Hey, buddy, do you remember how you and I went up the mountain, and you fell into a snowdrift? And I climbed to help you out, and I myself ended up there. We warmed ourselves for a long time afterwards!"
Such stories will invariably make your friend smile, cause a wave of warmth in him and a desire to also share something important and understandable only for the two of you.

Remember, maybe you wanted to ask your friend for a long time, but you never got the chance? Write to him about it. Or just ask how he's doing, what's new, and what he can share with you.

When the main body of the letter is finished, say goodbye to your friend. Do this as a greeting, in a casual style appropriate to your type of communication.
Step 9
If you are an original person, then you can glue pictures or select a frame on the finished sheet of the letter. In the same way as in childhood, attach interesting gifts, such as a postcard, photograph, or drawing.
Step 10
Now put the letter in an envelope, carefully seal it and sign the address according to the rules. You just have to take the letter to the post office and then anxiously await a friendly response!
