Step 1
Take the opportunity to enroll your child in kindergarten via the Internet. To do this, go to the portal "State services in St. Petersburg". On the main page, click on the item in the menu "Register of public services". You will see a list of different areas of activity in which electronic government services are provided. Select the "Education" section, there you will see a table where you need to click on the item in the line "Enrollment of children in a public kindergarten", the column "Provision of services in electronic format".
Step 2
Read the description of the offered service and instructions for filling out the questionnaire. Then click on the item "Filling out an electronic application". Indicate in it all the necessary data - yours and the child, you can also indicate your preferences if you want to send your child to a specific kindergarten. If you are eligible for Child Benefits on Kindergarten, please check the boxes below. Your application will then be sent to the education department in your area. If you have filled in everything correctly, you will be able to download the notification about the submission of the application. Save it on your computer as a proof document.
Step 3
Within a month, you will receive an email with a special registration number in the queue for a place in kindergarten. With it, you can check if your application is approved. To do this, on the page dedicated to enrollment in kindergartens, click on the link "View application status". Enter your last name, first name, patronymic and application code and you will find out whether the application is approved or not.
Step 4
If the application is approved, prepare additional documents. Obtain a certificate of the health of your son or daughter from the children's clinic, and also take an extract from the house book from the place of registration of the child from the management company.
Step 5
Come to the education department of your area with all the documents. Already there, you should be given a ticket to a preschool institution, subject to availability.
