The maternity leave ends, and the young mother decides to go to work. So, it's time to attach the baby to the kindergarten. In recent years, more than 10,000 new preschool institutions have opened in St. Petersburg. Also, since 2009, the procedure for enrolling a child in a kindergarten has changed.
It is necessary
- - birth certificate of the child;
- - passport;
- - a document confirming the right to receive benefits (if any);
- - medical documents;
- - direction.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out the address of the district commission for the assembly of preschool institutions. This can be done via the Internet, for example, on the Official St. Petersburg portal, or in the nearest kindergarten. Call the indicated number of the commission in your area and check the opening hours. They can change depending on the number of visitors. During periods of high influx, additional opening hours are introduced.
Step 2
Collect the child's medical records. To do this, you need to inform the local therapist that in the fall you plan to send your baby to the kindergarten. The doctor will issue directions for the necessary tests, as well as a list of specialists who must be completed.
Step 3
Look at the reviews about the kindergartens you plan to visit. Better to stop at 3-4 options. When choosing one institution, there is a risk of being left without a place - the group may already be recruited into it. If your child has specific characteristics, research where and what remedial kindergartens are in your area.
Step 4
On the day of admission, after capturing all the documents, go to the commission. There they will tell you which kindergarten is best for the child, taking into account his characteristics and state of health. After you write the application, you will be given a referral to the chosen institution, or a certificate stating that your application was accepted and the child was registered in the database.
Step 5
If your work will be connected with business trips or the time of its completion is later than the closing of the kindergarten, and there is no one to pick up the child, be sure to inform the commission about it. In every district of St. Petersburg there are kindergartens with groups working around the clock.
