Prepare your child for the coming New Year. Even a baby at the age of two can already be explained that one fine day, under a decorated Christmas tree, Santa Claus will leave gifts. Of course, kindergarten teachers and teachers at school will learn poems and songs for the matinee with children or prepare a performance, but it is important that you also be a source of information about the holiday for your child. Children can be shown pictures in books, with older children write letters to Santa Claus and solemnly "send" by mail.

Connect your baby to the New Year's chores. Let him, along with you, choose Christmas tree decorations, participate in the preparation of the festive menu and decorate the apartment. Firstly, it helps to develop children's imagination, and, secondly, the baby will feel his involvement in the magic that is unfolding right before his eyes.
Step 3
Allow the child on New Year's Eve, if not all, then a lot. First, think over how he will be able to "sit out" before the chimes. You may need to reschedule your daytime sleep or allow yourself to lie in bed longer in the morning. Secondly, give your child the opportunity to make noise, rattle, fire firecrackers, leave the streamer, even if this leads to unwanted garbage in the apartment. Thirdly, let the children feel like adults - let them drink children's champagne and hold a real sparkler, of course, under the supervision of adults.

Invite Santa Claus to visit. If you are celebrating the New Year with a large company, you can dress one of the adults in a pre-made, purchased or rented costume. The second option is to hire an outside grandfather - on the eve of the holidays, you will find many ads in newspapers and on the Internet. In this case, it is better to choose a proven performer, otherwise the child may stop believing in Santa Claus. And the third option is to negotiate with someone at work and congratulate the children of all employees. This is convenient if you live in a small city.
Step 5
If you do not have the opportunity to invite Santa Claus, stage his arrival to create a New Year's mood for the children. It is important that gifts not only appear under the tree, but magically appear there. Therefore, in this case, the doorbells, the slamming of the windows, the real snow on the carpet will work great. And, of course, gifts should be beautifully wrapped, because children are used to seeing bright shiny boxes on TV, tied with bows and signed in an unfamiliar handwriting.
