Predictions
All adults want to look into their future at least for a minute, and children are even more curious. Use this to create a fun game. Write your questions / wishes and names on separate pieces of paper and put them in your hat. Take one of the kids present as assistants. Pull the pieces of paper one by one or let the children do it.
Questions might be:
- Who will be the most hardworking / healthiest / athletic in the new year?
- Who will make the big discovery?
- Who will become a traveler (or famous)?
- Who will find the treasure?
- Who will delight you with a lot of good news?
- Who will make a cherished dream come true?
Little psychics
A very simple competition for a prize, in which absolutely all kids can be involved. Place a colored, closed box in the middle of the room. And let the children guess what's inside. Use riddles or the traditional hot-cold game as clues. Don't forget about tasty souvenirs for active participants.
Relay race
A children's holiday can be considered successful if the kids managed to frolic heartily. For this, you can use many outdoor games. And here is one of them. First, tell the children a short story:
“There is a boot island in the west of the planet. Cheerful people live there. During the New Year, it is not Santa Claus or Santa Claus that comes to them, but the witch Fana on a broomstick and wearing a cap. She has chocolates and coals in her bag. She gives sweets to obedient children, and coals to hooligans."
Then divide the kids into two teams. Put two bags of chocolates for each near the tree, and give the leaders of the teams a broom and a cap on their heads. The task is simple: let the children take turns putting on their caps and, "riding" the broom, run to the Christmas tree for their chocolate bar from the magic bag.
New Year's mail
Choose a baby postman and hand him a bag with parcels. He must distribute everything to the addressees that you tell him. But there is a condition! To receive a parcel, you need to portray an animal / fairytale character (which you will name) or a symbol of the next year. You can use sweets or toys as parcels. At the end of the fun, especially artistic kids and the postman himself can be noted.
