Scientists observing the children noticed a positive effect of computer games on fine motor skills and reaction development. Psychologists believe that during the game, the nervous system is trained. But excessive passion for computer games causes considerable harm to the mental development and health of children.
Instructions
Step 1
Many modern children and adolescents literally "live" in the virtual world, thereby becoming its "victims" and enemies for themselves. Unlike peers who are fond of different sciences and types of activities, virtual children do not develop their memory, they lose a sense of responsibility for what is happening around.
Step 2
A person's well-being is largely dependent on physical activity. Being deprived of movement for hours in a sitting position, children and adolescents cause considerable harm to their health. Prolonged stay in an unchanged position does not allow the lymphatic and venous systems of the body to function normally, leads to stagnation of blood. The consequence of excess weight that appears with a sedentary lifestyle is diseases of the cardiovascular system. The manifestation of other diseases is quite likely. Eye fatigue subsequently leads to decreased vision.
Step 3
Children and adolescents who are addicted to computer games gradually weaken their mental abilities. Only certain areas of the brain that are responsible for vision and locomotion can receive a positive effect. Most of the human brain is underdeveloped and even subject to degradation. Memory deteriorates, learning ability and control over emotions and feelings are lost.
Step 4
It is no secret that the number of people strongly addicted to computer games is not decreasing. This obsessive "disease" affects not only children and adolescents, but also adults. Their behavior is often characterized by imbalance, even aggressiveness. This happens due to the loss of control over their own actions. It is often difficult for a person suffering from such addiction to get rid of a computer "disease", and not everyone wants it. Psychologists have come to the conclusion that such dependence is developing very rapidly: six months or a year - and a person becomes a "prisoner" of this habit.
Step 5
Teenagers often prefer computer games in which the plots are based on murder, shooting, and beating. For skillful actions in them, the main character is well rewarded. An insufficiently strengthened teenager's psyche is able to transfer the actions taking place in the virtual world to the real world, since for a teenager, absorbed in play, these worlds differ little.
Step 6
A person who is carried away by cruel games decreases the level of sensitivity to unattractive scenes of humiliation and violence. Scientists have concluded that this contributes to the emergence of adolescents' propensity to commit crimes. Such people are not able to show feelings of compassion to others, they are indifferent and in no hurry to help others. On the contrary, they strive to suppress the will of the weak. Often, adolescents truly believe in the possibility of being left unpunished for any evil deed.
Step 7
However, there is a different opinion about the possibility of manifestation of aggression among adolescents who are overly keen on violent games in a virtual environment. It is possible that these games help angry and cruel people to "tame" their anger, taking it out in the virtual world. But the fact is obvious that kindness and compassion overflowing with scenes of violence will not add to a person's games.
Step 8
Many modern parents are in a hurry to purchase a far from cheap gift for their children - a computer. The aspirations of the elders are understandable: they see this thing as an assistant in the study and entertainment of their beloved children. But parents always need to remember that a large number of computer games negatively affect the still unformed children's psyche, and excessive enthusiasm for them can develop into addiction that is difficult to treat.
