It is difficult to explain anything to children under the age of one. Show love and affection for the baby. Be gentle with him and patient when he cries. The child, like a sponge, absorbs all emotions, and with a love relationship will feel protected.
In raising a child from 1 to 2 years old, the main tactic is not to scold him if he does not behave the way he should, but to prevent conflict situations. If you are going to the store with a child, feed him first so that he does not spoil his appetite with sweets. Then, even if the kid asks for something tasty, you can safely buy and give it to him. To prevent the child from scattering things, secure the cabinet doors securely, and then he will not be able to open them.
At the age of 2 to 4 years with children, you need to watch cartoons more often, read books, and, using the example of goodies, explain what is good and what is bad. Stop the child's unwanted actions firmly, but calmly and kindly. Do not yell at him or intimidate, so that the child does not grow up nervous.
Children from 5 to 6 years old can already correctly perceive abstract concepts. Tell your child what friendship, love, honesty are. Set positive examples for him, as at this age children tend to be like those close to them.
6-8 years old. The child goes to school, and often the opinion of the first teacher becomes more important than the parent's. There is an awareness of oneself in society, an understanding that all people have rights and responsibilities. Teach your child that learning is a job for him that should be done well.
At 8-10 years old, the child is influenced by external factors: friends, school, streets. He is no longer so firmly attached to you, often has his own opinion, different from yours. The process of personality formation takes place. Try to be a diplomatic and loyal parent, ask the child's opinion, his attitude to this or that event.
No matter what age your child is, let him share with you his joys, victories, griefs and problems. Be a friend to him.
