According to the results obtained, it was possible to find out that men's infidelity is still a greater number (28% of the respondents admitted their infidelity), but girls much more often try to remain faithful to their beloved man. However, among the fairer sex, 17% of the respondents had connections on the side.

In addition, using the same survey, it was found that both men and women cheat on their partners most often after reaching the age of forty. And the presence of children in the family does not save the situation, but only worsens it, since going to the side only increases.

The people surveyed not only confessed to betrayal, but also confirmed their loyalty to their beloved, and the women turned out to be more faithful, since among the people who participated in the study, 70% of the fair sex never betrayed their husbands, while among men this figure was only 53 %.

It turns out that girls do not cheat on their boyfriends very often, and their reasons for this should be weighty. If the stronger sex goes to betrayal in order to satisfy their own physical needs, women seek comfort on the side more often in case of indifference of a spouse, despair or new love.

Sociologist and PhD in Philosophy Anatoly Zaitsev is sure that both men and women find mistresses and lovers in various places. 31% of girls and 28% of guys answered that they had an affair at work, 34% of the fairer sex and 20% of the stronger sex - on vacation, 2% of women and 20% of men - on a business trip, and 10% of wives and 4 % of husbands.

It is believed that cheating is very often pushed by the lack of long-term sexual contact with a regular partner. However, this applies mainly to the male part of the population. Of the respondents, this was confirmed by 11% of husbands. Among women, only 9% will look for a replacement for their beloved because of physical needs.

Among other motives of marital betrayal, the desire to prove to oneself its attractiveness should be distinguished. 6% of women seduced other men in order to increase their own self-esteem and elevate themselves in their eyes. Men are also prone to this behavior, and even more often than the fairer sex. 10% of guys agreed that they went for treason for the sake of their belief in their own sexuality.
