Lego constructor is a welcome gift for a child, especially for boys who really like to build buildings out of it, collect models of cars, planes and other equipment. You can teach your child to build a typewriter according to the attached instructions, or on your own, using improvised parts.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the box of the purchased kit or inspect it from all sides. You will find detailed instructions for the step-by-step assembly process. Follow all the instructions and teach the child to do this, since often the kits are quite complex.
Step 2
If you don't find instructions in the box, check out the official builds on the Lego website, or look for amateur scanned and drawn descriptions. Pay attention to the composition of the parts that are used in the various kits and make sure you have everything you need. You can buy a box with "Freestyle" - a variety of parts that are used to create all kinds of design options.
Step 3
Arrange all the parts that will be used in the assembly of the car into groups. To the first of them, most often include ready-made wheels and parts for attaching them to the axle and the bottom of the car body. To assemble the body, you will need several rectangular and square blocks, as well as the supplied hinged doors. Look in the kit for trunk bumpers, flat or slightly convex roofs, plastic windows.
Step 4
Attach two wheels to two axles - thin and elongated blocks. Place one or two flat blocks on top of them to create something that looks like a cart. Attach the hinged doors to the sides and the front windshield. Build a trunk and an engine compartment from several cubic blocks. Install the remaining glass and place the roof on top of them.
Step 5
Complete your car with a few beauty details. For example, round and multi-colored button parts can be used to create headlights and side lights, tires and ornaments. Optionally add a spare tire on the trunk, an antenna, or put the driver inside if space permits.
