It is quite important for a child to be able to stand on all fours, because from such a position the easiest way is to sit down or get up first on his knees without assistance, and then on straight legs, using, for example, a sofa as a support.
Instructions
Step 1
Start by placing your child on their stomach, for example, on a table. One of your hands should be in the area of his chest, slightly raised above the surface of the table. With your other hand, bend the child's leg and bring one first and then the other to his belly.
Step 2
It is necessary that, with your help, the baby holds his leg in this position for several minutes. The exercise should be repeated about 5-7 times, alternately increasing the amount of time to hold each of the legs in this position.
Step 3
Find in the apartment (house) the safest and most spacious place for the baby, so that nothing constrains him in his movements. You can put him on the carpet on his tummy, and his favorite toys are not far from him so that he can clearly see them and he has a desire to get to them on his own.
Step 4
At the slightest attempt to get on all fours, you are required to help him in this, support and create a sense of balance for him.
