If your baby is still very small, and his legs already need shoes, then you should not at all guess what size your baby has. There are several ways to find out your baby's shoe size.
Instructions
Step 1
The first way. The most basic way possible. To measure your foot size, you will need a piece of paper, a pen, pencil, or felt-tip pen. Place a piece of paper on the floor. Make sure it does not slip and is well locked in place. It will be nice if one of the parents can hold the paper, pressing its edges with his fingers to the floor. If you are taking measurements one or one, then fix the edges of the sheet with tape. To do this, attach a piece of tape to the corners of the paper, each of which is fixed on the floor. After the sheet is fixed, proceed with the main part of the measurement. Place the child's foot on a piece of paper and trace the outline of the foot with a marker so that an imprint remains on the sheet. Try to trace so that the pencil fits as closely as possible to the leg. The resulting drawing is the size of your baby's leg.
Step 2
If you do not like this method of measurement, or you find it not entirely accurate, then try using another one. To do this, take a tailor's tape and measure the length of the foot, the width of the foot. It is best if you measure the width of your foot at three points. At the toes, in the middle of the foot and at the heel. Write down the obtained measurements on a piece of paper so as not to forget, and go to the store to shop.
Step 3
If this method is also not suitable for you, then especially for you there is another very good way to measure the real size of your baby's foot. To do this, you need plasticine. Warm up the clay thoroughly in your hands so that it becomes very soft and plastic. This method of measurement is distinguished not so much by its accuracy as by a fascinating process that will appeal not only to the child, but also to yourself. Place the child's foot on plasticine to leave a deep mark. The child can even walk on plasticine, then the imprint will remain deeper. This will allow you to easily match your child's shoes. Now there should be no problems with choosing shoes!
