The creation of children's projects carries a lot of developmental opportunities: from learning new things to the ability to plan and present their activities. But at first, of course, this work should be carried out under the guidance of adults, otherwise where do such valuable skills come from? Therefore, adults should approach children's projects carefully, helping, advising, but in no case doing the work for the child.

Instructions

Step 1

Think over the purpose of the project. A project is any activity to create a certain product that is interesting for a child. For example, if your child is interested in origami, then you can make an origami animal park with him or make a short educational film for classmates. Those. first think about what result you want to get in your project activity with your child. It can also be a presentation, a research result in the form of a set of recommendations, etc.

Step 2

Think over a work plan. Where do you need to start in the first place, what questions to study or highlight in the course of further work? Perhaps you have ever written a term paper or thesis? So, a children's project is practically the same scientific work, only in a children's format. Therefore, follow the same principles: create a short theoretical part, consisting of an introduction, main material and a conclusion. Teach your child to collect data, analyze whether they fit the topic of the project or not, reformulate in their own words and arrange them in the correct order. For children's work, take a minimum of material (entertaining facts, history of birth) so that the child does not lose interest.

Step 3

Next, move on to the practical part of the project. Most likely, to implement it, you (and more a child) will need certain skills: motor, technical. Make a list of the skills you will have to learn - these will be your tasks. For example, work in the presentation editor, master the manufacture of new models, etc. At this stage, your role will be helpful, try to set aside special time for the project and do it with the child, not instead of him. You can also be a child's helper, for example, make a video, select the text and help to voice it. You can make complex models with him, photograph the result and create a brochure, for example.

Step 4

Finalize the project and rehearse his defense (presentation) with the child. Within about 5 minutes, the child should talk about how interesting his work is, how it will benefit others and show the main points. And in what form the presentation will take place - in the form of a slide show, film, layout, model or wall newspaper - is completely at the mercy of your imagination.
