Games that develop logical skills are essential for every kid. Unlike traditional chips, dominoes and lotos, which do not carry any semantic meaning, checkers are an ideal smart option for quiet family gatherings in the evening at the TV screen.

Instructions
Step 1
Checkers are placed in four rows (at the edges from the players' side) and only in dark cells. The white zone does not participate in the game. Players can only "walk" on dark cells forward, ie. diagonally. You can "beat" the opponent's checkers both forward and backward. In other words, if there is an obstacle on your way, and you can jump over it (the space for maneuver is not closed by other checkers), jumping over, you thereby “kill” the stranger and remove him from the field. If in this way you can jump over several checkers, nothing prevents you from “eating” them all at once. The game is won by the one who clears the board of the opponent's pieces first.
Step 2
By default, the right of the first move is assigned to “white”. The task of each player is to get to the opposite end of the field, where checkers automatically turn into kings. To distinguish them visually on the board, the kings are usually flipped or decorated. The queen has the right to move in any direction (forward / backward) and any number of squares within its diagonal. With the help of the kings, it is much faster and easier to defeat the enemy. As a rule, there is always a winner in this game. In rare cases, when opponents remain with a minimum number of pieces on the playing field and cannot drive each other into a trap, a draw is declared by mutual agreement of the parties.
Step 3
To date, many board games have been invented with checkers. These are "giveaways" (a game from the opposite, where the one who first succumbs to the enemy wins), and "corners" (the task is to move your checkers to the other end of the field faster than the opponent), and the so-called "chapaevtsy", where the pieces placed on opposite sides of the board, shoot at each other "for flight". The variety of play options will help your child find the format that they like best. This means that evenings will become truly homely, calm and cozy.
