A child will feel much more confident at school if by the age of seven he has already learned to navigate well in the world around him. Educational games serve this very purpose. With the help of geometric mosaics, he will learn to distinguish well between shapes and colors, the right and left sides, fold patterns according to the pattern and design, etc. You can make such a mosaic in a couple of hours.

Necessary

  • - PVC tiles;
  • - plywood;

  • - jigsaw;
  • - pencil;
  • - ball pen;
  • - drawing accessories;
  • - a computer with a graphic editor;
  • - Printer.

Instructions

Step 1

You can play with geometric mosaics anywhere: on the floor, on the table. Your task is to cut out figures of different shapes. There should be as many of them as possible. To begin with, draw them on a sheet of thick paper: 4-5 circles of different diameters, large and small squares, rectangles, triangles, trapezoids, ovals. Cut out the stencils and transfer them to the material from which you will make the mosaic. It is very good if after the repair you still have PVC tiles of several colors. But such a mosaic can also be of the same color.

Step 2

Cut out the figures. PVC tiles are excellently cut with a sharp stationery knife. It's even better if you have a dedicated linoleum knife. It is better, of course, to cut out elements for a plywood mosaic with a jigsaw, and the usual one is more suitable in this case than the electric one. Plywood parts must be sanded.

Step 3

It's good if you have pieces of penofol or other similar material left after repair. In this case, the game can be made in just a few minutes, such materials are easily cut, and the details are perfectly even. It is convenient to draw on such material with a ballpoint pen.

Step 4

An important point is the preparation of sample pictures. A small child needs them. Think about what can be folded out of such a mosaic: a square house with a triangular roof and a rectangular window, a tumbler of four circles of different sizes, a pyramid of several ovals, a flower of circles, etc. Make pictures in any graphics editor and print. Samples can be drawn if you can.

Step 5

To prevent the mosaic elements from lying around, give your baby a few boxes. They can be beautifully pasted over. Put elements of a certain type in each box. All boxes can be folded into a small suitcase or box. For pictures, the most common file folder is suitable.
