Get ready for sleepless nights, babies can be very restless at times. Take on some of the chores around the house, it will be hard for a young mother at first. Put yourself in her place, think about what you can do to make it easier for her to cope with the piled up responsibilities.

Don't be surprised that a significant portion of the budget will now be spent on diapers, bottles, mashed potatoes and juices for the little man.

Be aware that now all the attention of your other half will belong to a small child, he urgently needs it now. This does not mean that you have turned from the desired and only one into a breadwinner and an au pair. All this will return with time, be patient.

Reconsider your usual lifestyle, get ready for the growing child to follow your example. If you smoke while telling your baby about the dangers of smoking, it is unlikely that your words will achieve the goal. The same goes for other habits, like throwing your belongings all over the place.

Being a father means being a responsible person. This means that you will make decisions based on more than just your own interests. You will perform any action based on the interests of your family. Learn to put them first.
All difficulties will be overcome over time, the child will grow, set you as an example. Then you will understand: there is nothing better than knowing that there is a person in the world who calls you "dad".
