Many parents are faced with the fact that their children's soft toys multiply over time, like mushrooms after rain. Bears and dogs of different sizes are often brought as gifts by friends and relatives. When it comes time to part with plush supplies, it is a pity to throw away good things, but finding new owners for them is difficult.
Instructions
Step 1
Contrary to popular belief, children's homes and other state orphanages, as well as kindergartens, are not entitled to accept soft toys from the population. And in general, they only take new things, in packaging and with labels. The fact is that it is impossible to process such toys, but there is always a risk of “endowing” the orphanage with domestic insects by accepting them.
Step 2
In some rayon governments, welfare departments can accept soft toys in good condition to give to children from low-income families. For the same purposes, toys can be taken to a church or a branch of the Red Cross.
Step 3
Do not forget to ask your acquaintances. Perhaps your child's giant teddy bear or chair-shaped hippo is the dream of their children or the children of their friends. Some of the toys can be taken by collectors of a certain type of animals. By the way, lonely grandmothers from among the neighbors will be glad to a cute hare or velvet hedgehog. Few people give them gifts, and I also want to decorate a modest life, even if there are no children and grandchildren.
Step 4
Find out where in your city there are online platforms for exchanging things or giving them to someone for free. Often, those who want to get new toys live nearby, but do not know those who give them away.
Step 5
High-quality and unusual stuffed toys can be returned to a thrift store. Then you will even be able to get some money for them. Of course, the amount will not be large, because the store will still make its markup, and the final cost should remain low for the buyer of used things.
Step 6
The easiest option is to take the toys out to your own yard and offer them to the neighbour's children. Or just leave them next to the container yard. Just make sure that they are expecting new owners in good weather. If snow or rain spoils them, the toys can simply be thrown away.
