After the birth and registration of the child with the registry office, parents have the right to receive a lump sum at the birth of a child. It is due to both working and non-working citizens and is paid at the place of work or by the social protection authorities, respectively.
Instructions
Step 1
Working citizens for the appointment and payment of a lump sum at the birth of a child must apply to the place of work and provide the following documents: - application for the appointment and payment of benefits;
- certificate of the birth of a child, which is issued by the registry office;
- a certificate from the place of work of the other parent stating that he did not receive benefits. If the second parent is not working, then this certificate must be taken from the social protection authorities. The term for the payment of this benefit is 10 days from the date of submission of the relevant documents.
Step 2
Non-working citizens for the appointment and payment of benefits at the birth of a child must contact the social protection authority and provide the following documents: - application for the appointment and payment of benefits, in which it is necessary to indicate the method of transferring funds (bank account);
- originals and copies of passports of both parents;
- original and copy of the child's birth certificate;
- certificate of the birth of a child, which is issued by the registry office;
- copies of work books or other documents containing information about the last place of work (service, study);
- a certificate of non-receipt of benefits by the other parent, issued by the social protection authority at the place of residence. If the second parent works, then this certificate is issued at the place of work;
- an extract from the court decision on establishing guardianship over the child, a copy of the court decision that entered into legal force and a copy of the agreement on the transfer of the child to foster care. This is for persons replacing parents (guardians, adoptive parents, adoptive parents);
- for foreign citizens and stateless persons who temporarily reside in the territory of the Russian Federation - a copy of the temporary residence permit as of December 31, 2006.
Step 3
Single mothers for the appointment and payment of a one-time benefit at the birth of a child must contact either at the place of work or the social protection authorities and provide the following documents: - application for the appointment and payment of benefits;
- certificate of the birth of a child, which is issued by the registry office;
- a certificate issued by the registry office on the basis for entering information about the child's father into the birth certificate.
Step 4
A lump sum at the birth of a child is assigned and paid if the application for it was not later than 6 months from the date of the child's birth. The amount of this allowance in 2011 is 11703, 13 rubles. for every child. The amount of the allowance is subject to annual indexation.
