In a baby, the thermoregulation of the body is still quite poor, so he cannot protect himself from low temperatures on his own. But winter frosts are not a reason to keep a newborn within four walls. You need to properly dress your baby in the winter for the street and boldly go for a walk.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare three layers of baby clothes for your winter walk. The first layer is underwear and a diaper. The second consists of a blouse and pants or a light jumpsuit made of jersey, wool or terry cloth. You can use a flip-flop diaper instead of overalls. And the third layer is a winter fur envelope, a warm hat and a scarf.
Step 2
Choose underwear made from natural, soft fabrics. The best option if the undershirt, romper or diaper, cap and socks are made of 100% cotton. Do not use clothes with buttons on the back. Items with shoulder or front closure are more comfortable. Also make sure that the labels on the laundry are carefully cut off. Be sure to put a diaper on your baby. Even if you are against disposables, make an exception for winter walks. After all, wet cold clothes can do much more harm to a child than a diaper.
Step 3
Dress your newborn in clothes that do not fit snugly around the body. If you are using a diaper as a second layer, do not tie it too tightly. A warm hat that is worn over a bonnet should be in size and tightly cover your ears. Winter overalls should be windproof and waterproof. Special envelopes for babies with fur inside and a hood that tightens around the face are very convenient. In this case, you can do without a scarf.
