Physiological changes, mental development and social adaptation occur during adolescence. Building relationships with society helps to define your place in society. Your child begins to ask the question: "Who am I?", "What is my place in this world?" Often the answers found in adolescence shape the personality of a person in the future.
If a teenager comes to the conclusion that he is an outcast, he can spend the rest of his life in artificial isolation. Conversely, if you provide a teenager with the necessary assistance in the event of a crisis, he can become a successful independent person.
The educational process is to help the child form social ties, create comfortable conditions for him to master the norms and rules of behavior in modern society.
1. Conditions
Make sure that the teenager feels comfortable and can fully develop both mentally and physically. The emotional background directly depends on the physical condition. The teenager should have a daily schedule of food, rest, study, sports.
2. Communication
Spend time with your child. Find common ground. Take an interest in his life, interests. Relax together, watch movies, help him with homework, cook food.
3. An example to follow
Teens need a positive example more than anyone else. Become such an example for him: communicate kindly with your spouse, respect the elderly, help your neighbors.
4. Conflict resolution
Help your child understand that fighting and swearing will not solve all of his problems. Teach him to get out of conflicts constructively.
5. Bad habits
It is not enough to say that drinking alcohol and smoking are harmful. You need to show that you yourself adhere to such a lifestyle.
