Why doesn't the child eat

Have you noticed that the child does not eat well during the hot season? This is a natural process, because the body needs water to digest food, and there is not enough of it in the body in the summer.

After a year, appetite may also decrease, because the child is no longer developing as rapidly as it was before. And therefore, the body's need for "building material" is sharply reduced, hence the decrease in appetite.

Hypodynamic children consume less energy, so they practically do not need to replenish it and they have enough food.

When teething occurs, you may notice a decreased appetite in a child. After all, his gums are very sensitive during this period and when they eat they burst and cause discomfort and pain.

As with adults, the child can be stressed and therefore eat little. For example, when changing the team (going to school or kindergarten).

If the child does not eat well and at the same time he has other symptoms, for example, dizziness, nausea, pallor of the skin, then an urgent need to consult a doctor. Perhaps the child develops a gastrointestinal tract disease. It is not uncommon for children to refuse to eat with ARVI, flu, oral thrush or poisoning.

Lack of appetite may indicate a condition such as anorexia nervosa. This is a disease in which there is a complete refusal to eat. Quite often, this disease develops in adolescent girls who dream of an ideal body and are afraid to get fat.

Therefore, if the child does not eat well, you should pay attention to the cause. After all, a decrease in appetite can speak of both a physiological process in the body and a pathological one.
