A lot of time is stolen by social networks and TV, and books are written about the ability of multiplayer games to tie players to a computer for hours. Even the phone becomes a thief of time if it regularly "pleases" with aimless calls and messages.
Sometimes you really want to have more than 24 hours in a day, and you could do much more in one day. And if no one is able to regulate the number of hours in a day, then everyone can get rid of cases that steal precious time and learn to do more if desired.
Time thieves
The day that started by checking the list of emails and social networks can be safely considered lost. Social services are the main thieves of time in the 21st century. But in fact, it is quite possible to do without daily checking of the news feed. And you can save at least an hour a day on refusing to check your mail regularly, and messages can be read all at once, having set aside 5-10 minutes for this before going to bed. And you can even look at the news feed 1-2 times a week.
Another thief of minutes is the phone. Calls stretch for minutes and hours, but these conversations, in fact, are about nothing. Of course, giving up a phone is not so easy, and you shouldn't do it, but it is better to disconnect the connection during important activities. The only exception is important calls related to work or study, but they can wait until you are free.
Shows and television, as well as aimlessly surfing the net, are great ways to kill time while waiting for something important. But when you need to have time to redo a lot of things in a day, and you decide to carve out an hour to watch a new episode of your favorite saga, you can be sure that you will definitely not have time for something. The time flies behind the series, and the practical benefit of watching it is zero, so it's better to forget from the habit of sitting up at the TV or computer watching TV series if you don't want to waste time.
Computer games can also be classified as chronophages - thieves of time. Particularly dangerous are online games, which seem to attract representatives of all ages as a magnet. It seems that the social component of such games helps to develop communication skills, and the fulfillment of game missions teaches us to cope with life's difficulties. In fact, the game is nothing more than a source of profit for their creators. So if you like to play and do not consider it a bad habit, you should know that you yourself have warmed the time-eating snake on your chest.
How to save time
All you need to do to forget about wasting time is to learn how to plan. Moreover, both for a day and for a year or even a decade. If you get used to setting specific goals for yourself, as well as rewarding yourself for achieving them, then the desire to re-contact with the thieves of time will not arise.
