If you are seriously thinking of making your child a "star" of modeling or show business, you need to make a portfolio. A portfolio is a photograph that will present a child in the most favorable light to a producer or director.
Instructions
Step 1
Without your child's portfolio, no modeling or acting agency will be listed in the database. It is from these photographs that he will be selected and invited to the casting. Therefore, photographs should give a real idea of the age, height and other data of the child. The portfolio must be made in two forms: on an electronic medium (flash drive) and in a special folder.
Step 2
It is best for a modeling agency to take a lot of photos in different outfits. Photos must be staged, of excellent quality and resolution.
Step 3
Acting agencies welcome close-ups and full-length photos. You can attach game pictures, with some actions. If the child has already filmed, attach photographs from the filming.
Step 4
The main question for parents is where to take high-quality photos. You can turn to private photographers who do studio photography. Find out in advance if such a photographer works with children, and be sure to see his work. The studio should have all the necessary props and many different costumes to create the image. But keep in mind that this kind of work can cost you dearly.
Step 5
A more budget-friendly option can be the work of a photographer on location. Simply put, on the street. In this case, studio rent is not taken into account, and the price of such photos will be lower. Look for a beautiful place in the park, near the river, in the forest on a nice bright day. If you want to change several outfits for your child, then you will have to take them with you and find a place to change clothes.
Step 6
You can take pictures of the child yourself at home or on the street. Of course, in this case, you should have a more or less decent camera with a resolution of at least 8 megapixels. After shooting, process all the defects of the photo (red eyes, highlights) in Photoshop. If this is not possible, apply a foundation on the child's face before shooting, which will hide under-eye circles and uneven skin. Indeed, in show business, like nowhere else, "they are greeted by their clothes."
