Portfolio preparation teaches self-presentation skills, the ability to collect and appreciate the fruits of one's labor, promotes the development of cognitive activity, creates a situation of success, and builds confidence in the child.

Step 1

Select the type of portfolio to create. There are two of them: a free portfolio of a student of junior / middle grades and a portfolio-9, for high school students. The first is a portfolio of the child's creative work. The second can be designed as a portfolio of documents, works and reviews. There are no strict government standards for portfolios.

Step 2

Design or download portfolio templates. The structure of the portfolio of a primary school student is simple and consists of sections: title page, child's world, study, social work, creativity, impressions, achievements, feedback and wishes, works that the child is proud of, content. Portfolio-9 includes: title page, official documents, creative work and social practice, reviews and recommendations, general information, summary summary sheet.

Step 3

Fill out the title page with basic information about the child: name, surname, age, class, school, photo. For high school students, include here both the period for which the documents / materials were submitted, and contact information - phone number, e-mail address.

Step 4

Complete portfolio sections. In the section "My World" include any information that is interesting for the child: about the city, school, hobbies, friends, favorite subjects. Fill in the section "My studies" with successful tests, charts of development (success), creative work on the subject. Fill in the section "My social work" with photographs from performances, speeches, assignments, supplemented by short messages. Fill in the section "My work" with any creative work, preferably the most interesting, outstanding, photographs of handicrafts. Indicate in which competitions and exhibitions the works participated, what media were covered. Fill in the section "My impressions" with short creative assignments written after various excursions, exhibitions, and other educational programs. At first, fill in the section "My achievements" with any diplomas, certificates, diplomas. The section "Reviews and wishes" is filled in by teachers. Here teachers express their recommendations and wishes. The “Works I'm Proud” section contains the most significant valuable works and documents.

In the high school student's portfolio, in the "Official documents" section, place all certified individual achievements (certificate, certificates, certificates, certificates of olympiads, competitions, competitions) or their copies. Fill in the section "Creative works and social practice" with information on elective courses (number of hours, result), add creative projects, descriptions of any significant social and creative activity. Fill in the "Reviews and Recommendations" section with all the comments on the above activity, add the child's self-analysis: what he liked and enjoyed, brought moral return. In the "General Information" section, place your resume, as business information about available opportunities and business experience, an autobiography. The section "Consolidated summary sheet" presents the summary data on the specialized subject, the results of the courses, the results of the practices.
