In modern society, portfolios are designed by both adults and children. It allows you to reflect all the results of activities and stimulates further success. Children's portfolios are somewhat different, for example, from a teacher's portfolio. But its essence is the same: create a folder with information about yourself.

Step 1
Any portfolio begins with the design of the title page. Write the child's last name, first name, and date and place of birth.

Note which preschool he attended.
Step 3
Glue a photo of the child or ask him to try to paint his own portrait. When designing a portfolio of a child, children's creativity is welcome.

Next, discuss with him what sections or headings he would like to include in the portfolio. For example, you can include information about your baby's physical development. Enter your height and birth weight. Then, note the data changes each year.

You can help him arrange a family tree. Take a large tree as a basis and sign the names of relatives, starting with the roots and ending with thin branches.

Be sure to write about the child's hobbies. For example, he attends an art studio or studies at a music school, is engaged in the sports section or is fond of embroidery. You can attach the results of this activity. For example, photographs depicting a work (embroidery, drawing, applique) or a sports competition.

Attach proof of results achieved. These can be certificates, diplomas, letters of thanks, medals, certificates of graduation, for example, in an early development school.

Display in your portfolio which cartoons or music your child loves. What books does he prefer to read.

Write about a passion for a subject at school. If there is any progress, mark it. For example, he participated in a subject Olympiad or a scientific-practical conference and won prizes.

You can also attach abstracts prepared by children for various scientific readings or conferences.
