Traveling abroad with a child has already become quite commonplace. However, sometimes when crossing the borders of the Russian Federation, you may have some problems. And they are connected, as a rule, with the fact that border officials do not want to release your children from the country, who do not have the necessary package of documents in their hands.

Instructions

Step 1

If you are going to always travel with your children, then you need to enter them in your valid passport. To do this, you should visit the OVIR, where you received your passport and make the necessary entry. There is one peculiarity in this procedure: if your child is more than seven years old, then one such record is not enough, you must also paste a photo of your child into your passport. This rule does not apply to children under the age of seven. However, it often happens that border guards do not allow parents with children who are only five or six years old to leave the country. They explain this by the fact that photography is necessary for babies from the age of four.

Step 2

Do not forget that from the age of fourteen, the child must have an individual foreign passport. Otherwise, he will not have the right to leave.

Step 3

The most difficult case from a legal point of view is the export of a child outside the country by one of the parents or third parties. To prevent unauthorized actions in this direction, border guards require the parents to provide a notarized permission to leave the child. If it comes to single mothers, then it is enough for them to provide a birth certificate of the child, which they can take from the registry office.
