One of these unique places is the AvtoVAZ Technical Museum. This is one of the largest museum complexes in our country. The collection of the museum is extensive and varied; many of the museum's exhibits are simply unique. The exposition includes numerous samples of weapons from both world wars, from bastion cannons to the legendary Katyushas. There are also plenty of modern military equipment here: helicopters, howitzers, anti-aircraft guns and even aircraft that are in service with modern armies. In 2003, samples of space technology appeared in the museum's collection. Where else can you see the rover or lunar rover chassis? And certainly no other museum has a real submarine, not so long ago taken out of service.

Togliatti Museum of the History of Urban Planning is another unique institution of the city. Here you can take not just a virtual trip to any area of the city, but at any moment of its history. The history of the city from the days of wooden architecture to its modern state, built right in front of the eyes of museum visitors, is an incredible sight.

Another unusual museum in Togliatti is the Heritage City Museum Complex. A real eco-museum, an island of antiquity and primordial Russian culture in the middle of a modern metropolis. Heritage is an open-air museum, an old wooden house of the Starikovs, which was moved to the territory of a new city due to flooding, a place where history and modern reality of the city meet.

A separate niche in the cultural appearance of the city is occupied by magnificent temples, cathedrals and monasteries. Even the youngest guests of the city will gladly walk through the Transfiguration Cathedral and visit the Holy Resurrection Monastery.
