Most parents sooner or later face the problem of flatulence in their newborn babies. Most often this happens within a week after discharge from the hospital. Dill water can help the child in this case.
Instructions
Pour one tablespoon of dill or fennel seeds with a glass of boiling water. It is advisable to do this not in simple dishes, but in a porcelain teapot, but better in a thermos.
Dill seed broth should be infused for at least an hour.
Further, the resulting dill water must be thoroughly filtered through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. If, after filtration, particles of dill or fennel seeds are visible in the broth, the dill water must be filtered again.
The cooled dill water should be given to the baby 1 teaspoon no more than four times a day. Dill water can also be mixed with breast milk or formula and given during breastfeeding. The relief from dill water usually occurs 10-20 minutes after the baby takes it.
It is advisable to store dill water for babies in a glass container in a cool place. Naturally, every time before giving it to your baby dill water should be warmed up to room temperature. Dill water retains its beneficial properties for the baby's intestines for a day.
