The ability to write correctly is relevant all your life. Business papers, letters, albeit electronic, personal records - everything should be without errors. And you need to constantly work on literacy, since progress does not stand still. Together with him, new words appear in the Russian language, which also need to be written correctly. Dictation is also difficult and requires a combination of different skills. Help your child develop these skills.

Step 1
Teach your child to first fully listen to the proposal, only then start writing it.
Step 2
Form the child's ability to dictate to yourself by syllables what you need to write. At home, you can dictate to yourself out loud, carefully pronouncing all the sounds. In class, you will have to do it in a whisper, which you also need to be able to do.
Step 3
Require careful verification of what you have written. This should not be a quick reading, but attentive, syllabic, with the clarification of all incomprehensible points.
Step 4
Write down all the vocabulary words necessary for memorization in this class together with the child on cards (they are contained in the dictionary at the end of the Russian language textbook). Hang these cards around your apartment. The child will stumble upon them with a glance and will automatically memorize the words.
Step 5
Test your child's knowledge of all the spelling rules for words studied in this class. Form the ability to apply them in writing. Ask your child not only to say which letter should be written in any word, but also to justify its spelling.
Step 6
Develop your child's spelling vigilance. Offer him the text, written with errors, and ask these errors to find and correct.
Step 7
Write warning dictations. Dictate the entire sentence first, then in phrases. Before writing, the child must explain what, how and why he will write.
Step 8
Let your child read the text. Find with him all the places that are dangerous in terms of possible errors. Check the spelling of all the words governed by the rules. Repeat the spelling of all vocabulary words that appear. Dictate the text to your child. Read what you have written together, correct all mistakes, prove the need for corrections. Write the dictation again. Check it out.

Work on building dictation every day. Write small dictations, carefully study each word. With systematic work, the number of errors will decrease.
