The birth of a baby is happiness for parents. But time flies quickly and the moment comes when the child moves to a new stage in his childhood. At this stage, it becomes necessary to accustom the child to social communication.

At 2-3 years old, the child still does not feel an urgent need to communicate with other children. He is comfortable in the company of his parents. Adults at this time act as playmates, they can be imitated. Other children will not be able to cope with such a task, because they themselves need to communicate with their elders.

Adaptation is an adaptation to new conditions, circumstances. For a child, a kindergarten is a mysterious place where there are completely different people with whom he did not know before. Each child adapts differently. This can be attributed to the mental and personal characteristics of children. Tantrums appear from scratch, refusal to go to the kindergarten, pants may become wet again, the child does not sleep well, refuses to eat, cries when parting and does not let his mother leave her.

Adaptation is usually difficult, there may be shifts in the work of the body. Parents, on the other hand, see only an external change - behavior.

You need to prepare for changes in advance. At this time, it is advisable to be especially attentive to the baby.

First of all, you need to teach him how to get acquainted: on the playground, in the park, to organize games for the children. Next, you should adhere to the daily regimen. It is worth teaching how to play. Do not just perform a few manipulations of toys, but build a game plot. Much attention should be paid to talking about kindergarten, you can walk nearby when the children go out for a walk. It is worth teaching the child independent skills in the field of hygiene, getting ready for a walk.

Another main step is strengthening the health of the child: tempering, dressing for the weather, frequent walks not only on the street, but also in crowded places.

The long-awaited day has come, the child is going to kindergarten. For all children, the first weeks pass in different ways: someone cries, someone easily goes to the group, some quickly calm down, others cannot be distracted by anything. This is normal. Parents need to be more patient, calm, hug the baby more often. At home, it is worth reducing the load on the child's psyche - watching TV less often, excluding events with a large number of people, spending more free time with the child, reading books, and playing quiet games.

Depending on the temperament of the child, adaptation can last on average 1-2 months, less often six months, a year.
