Step 1
Start by choosing the right toy. Pyramids are made of various materials: plastic, wood, soft fabric, rubber. For the first lessons, it is better to stop at plastic or rubber - they are convenient to wash, and the crumbs are all pulled into your mouth. Before buying, carefully inspect the toy - it should not have roughness, a pungent odor, or peeling coating.
Step 2
If the baby is already turning over on his stomach and crawling, stimulate the baby's movement - spread the rings from the pyramid at different distances from him. Ask your baby to crawl to the ring and take it. Thus, he must collect all the rings, and at the same time develop muscles. These games are a great opportunity to learn how to navigate in space.
Step 3
If the baby is already sitting, he should try to string the collected rings onto the rod. First, you must show how this is done. Take each ring, name the color, put it on the rod. Then disassemble in the reverse order, also with the name of the flowers. Do not expect the baby to immediately start repeating your actions. Most likely, he will only try awkwardly for now, but your task is to help and praise the baby.

For the next game, you will need several pyramids of different materials. Scatter the rings randomly and ask the child to assemble the pyramids correctly - a wooden ring on a wooden rod, a plastic ring on a plastic rod. Sorting objects with different textures develops fine motor skills, and the baby will also learn to sort objects according to a certain criterion.
Step 5
Make the simplest pyramid ring game on your own. Rings strung on a rope serve as a rattle and a teether for the baby, and develop fine motor skills.
Step 6
You need to return to the conscious collection of the pyramid after a year. At this time, try to teach your baby not only to string rings, but also to do it taking into account the size of the ring. To do this, first lay out the rings in front of the child and show that one ring is larger than the other, that there is a large ring, but there is a very small one. This will prepare your child for big-small.
