Children get used to the kindergarten in different ways. Some easily join the team and quickly get used to the new environment. Others need some time to get comfortable. Some babies start to get sick, but this does not mean at all that the child cannot go to kindergarten at all. He just needs more time to adapt. In severe cases, it takes several weeks or even months, although in most children this process is much faster.

Instructions

Step 1

In any case, the child must be sent to kindergarten. It is better to get used to the team before school. Otherwise, he will have to adapt at the time when he needs to learn. If you do not want to give your baby for the whole day, choose a short-stay group. For an older preschooler, this can be a preparation group for school, where children are brought only to classes.

Step 2

Most children enter kindergartens of general developmental type. A positive attitude plays a very important role. You, of course, have already discussed this topic with your baby when you underwent a mandatory medical examination or even visited the kindergarten and met the future teacher. Before bringing your child into the group, go for a walk. Take your kids for a walk for a few days. If you immediately establish a good relationship with the teacher, you can leave the child with the group on the street for ten minutes.

Step 3

After the first walk, discuss it with your baby. Ask if he enjoyed playing with the children and if he wants to go there again. Is it interesting for him to see what the children are doing in the kindergarten, what toys and books are there?

Step 4

The first day of kindergarten should not be longer than two hours. It's even better if you can bring your baby for half an hour or an hour. Bring him at a time when there are not many children in the group yet. Let him look around, play with toys. In some kindergartens, newly admitted children may be in a group with their parents. But try to leave and see how the child reacts to it. In any case, your absence should not be very long. Be sure to ask the teacher if the child ate and how he reacted to unfamiliar food.

Step 5

The next day, leave the baby in the kindergarten before the walk. You can bring him before breakfast, feed him and leave, leaving him for classes. If the child is calm enough about your absence and does not cry, leave him until lunch. Feed or wait for him to eat and take him home

Step 6

When the baby gets used to being without you for more or less a long time, leave him in the group until afternoon tea. Come before the end of the "quiet hour", observe the tempering procedures and feed the child.
