Each mother herself knows when to go to the garden for her child. Someone already in a year and a half shows miracles of communication, and someone even at the age of six hides behind the backs of adults. By law, kindergarten, subject to availability, must be admitted from the age of three. If there are free places in the younger group (or if the parents have a privilege), they will take it in a year and a half.

But parents should begin preparatory work for adaptation in kindergarten long before the start of their visit. Create a positive kindergarten image. Don't scare your child with it for bad behavior. You can often hear: "Here in kindergarten they will quickly show you …" What kind of child after these threats will rush to go there. On the contrary, tell them that kindergarten is the place where you can play toys, chat with peers, take a walk on the playground, and learn new songs. But this is not a place for re-education of naughty children. Omit details about classes and school preparation. Of course, if the child is curious, on the contrary, say that the kindergarten is a place of new discoveries.

The first visit to kindergarten should be with mom. Come with the baby to the group, show him where he will play, have lunch, sleep. Show the toilet separately. Often children are embarrassed to ask for it. Sometimes on the first day of your visit, you will stay with your child for two hours. But the key to successful adaptation is the gradual introduction of the child into a new team. Imagine yourself in his place. But this is still a little man who has no idea of life and his whole world is his mother.

What to do in case of tantrums? Be on the same wavelength with your child. Don't aggravate his fears. Squat, talk at the level of the child's eyes. Take your time. Talk to your baby about everything he is crying about. Forcibly dragging a child into a group means provoking future tantrums. Children remember everything and parting with their mother should not be traumatic. And at the same time, you must have a firm position that you need to leave (to work, on business).

You can motivate going to kindergarten. But not material gifts. It is better to promise that after the garden you will take a longer walk or watch cartoons if the child is a stay-at-home. Most of all problems arise in children with nutrition. Few people want to eat on their own. You can ask the provider to feed the child or ask them not to interfere with the process. The first weeks in the garden, almost all children have problems with food and this is normal.

Going to the toilet is also stressful for many children. Moreover, most kindergartens are equipped with toilet bowls, even if they are small. Of course, ideally, you need to teach your affairs to go to the toilet at home. But if you did not succeed in learning in advance, ask the teacher to help the child in this matter. Many parents are embarrassed to burden the teacher with requests once again. And in vain. Babysitting is the same job and they must also take into account the individual characteristics of the child.

By the way, it is the child's relationship with the educators that is the key to successful adaptation in kindergarten. Yes, unfortunately sometimes you have to deal with the rudeness of the staff. Then it will not be superfluous to point out to educators and nannies about the inadmissibility of such behavior. In the correct form, of course. The teacher has no right to beat, humiliate and insult children. In these cases, immediately write a statement to the director of the institution. Do not "get fooled" by the pity that "there are many children, and the salary is small." The educator is the same hired personnel with job responsibilities.
