Vegetables are rightly considered by pediatricians to be an essential ingredient in healthy baby food. Cauliflower is especially useful for the digestive tract and normal intestinal motility of babies. Its value is explained by the balanced content of easily digestible proteins, amino acids, carbohydrates, mineral salts, B vitamins, vitamins C, A and PP. Choose fresh cabbage forks. Its inflorescences should be ivory, not dented, without darkening.

Rinse the cauliflower with running water and dry with a towel. Take a small saucepan and boil the inflorescences in water without salt for a few minutes.

Take out the cabbage and mash it in mashed potatoes, gradually adding its broth. Use a blender for quick cooking. With such a dietary liquid puree, you can feed babies, starting with half a teaspoon and bringing the portion of complementary foods to 50 g within a month.
Step 4
In the diet of older children, recipes for boiled cauliflower will be more varied. For example, boil cabbage for 4-7 minutes in salted water. Then partially drain the water, add sour cream, dill and simmer. At the same time, the inflorescences will retain their shape.
Step 5
Make a vegetable stew with cauliflower for your child. To do this, take 2 liters of water, boil 4 diced potatoes for 10 minutes. Add to this broth, disassembled into inflorescences, small forks of cauliflower, three onions, three tomatoes, three pre-grated carrots cut into slices. Simmer until tender. Determine the degree of density of the dish to your liking by draining the excess liquid. Add 50 g of butter to the dish, sprinkle with parsley.
Step 6
To prepare another version of the vegetable dish, discard the boiled cabbage in salted water and shredded cabbage in a colander, put on a baking sheet. Pour 100 g of sour cream mixed with 100 g of grated cheese and finely chopped herbs to taste. Sprinkle the mixture with crushed breadcrumbs and bake in the oven at 200 degrees until golden brown. This will take about half an hour.
