Children, as a rule, draw quite a lot, and their creativity can tell a lot to their parents. If you want to understand how your child feels in this world, ask him to portray his family.
While drawing, the child does not control his own emotions, feelings and thoughts. On his art he transfers problems that he is not able to solve himself. Therefore, children's drawings should be given special attention.
First, look at how all family members are located in the drawing, and in which part of the sheet the child depicted himself. If he is between his parents, then he is quite comfortable and he is satisfied with their attitude towards him. If the kid did not begin to draw himself at all, or depicted himself somewhere on the sidelines, then he, most likely, feels abandoned, lonely. This is a signal to parents that the child needs support.
If you want to know who the kid considers the authority in the family, look who is drawn as the biggest one. Children usually embellish the most beloved family member with some bright detail, and also carefully draw details on his clothes or face.
If in the picture all family members are smiling and holding hands, this means that the baby perceives his family as close-knit and very friendly. If the parents are in different corners of the picture, draw conclusions.
It is worth paying attention to the colors that the child has chosen for his drawing. The presence of only gloomy tones is a reason to talk to the baby heart to heart or seek qualified help from a child psychologist.
