In accordance with the amended rules, social benefits are calculated based on the average earnings for 24 months. Paid days are limited for sick leave, which is issued for caring for minor children. Also, the accrual on the certificate of incapacity for work has changed, depending on the prescribed mode of care. Inpatient care is paid all the time based on the length of service of the employee, for outpatient care up to 10 days - based on the length of service, from 11 days - 50% of the average earnings, regardless of the length of service.
Instructions
Step 1
Sick leave is paid for caring for children up to the age of 15 years. Payments for a certificate of incapacity for work should be calculated depending on the total length of service of the employee. With more than 8 years of experience, 100% of the average daily earnings for 24 months is accrued, from 5 to 8 years - 80%, up to 5 years - 60%.
Step 2
It is also necessary to take into account what kind of child care was carried out. In case of inpatient care, payment should be made for all days depending on the total length of service of the employee; in case of outpatient care, the payment is made for the first 10 days, depending on the total length of service, from the 11th day - 50% of the average daily earnings for 24 months.

Step 4
If the child is disabled, then 120 days can be paid for care throughout the year. The time of care is not limited to children with HIV and children who have suffered from vaccinations. All sick leaves exceeding the indicated deadlines are not paid and are not documents that are exempted from work. The employer has the right to deliver absenteeism and dismiss under the relevant article.
Step 5
To calculate the average earnings for paying sick leave for caring for a minor child, you need to add up all the amounts earned for 24 months, for which insurance premiums were charged, and divide by 730. The resulting figure will be the average daily earnings for 24 months, based on which further calculation is made …
