As for folk remedies, they only allow you to scare away ticks, provided they are used correctly, but their effectiveness is much less, and therefore it is better to use them when the child is very small or it is simply not possible to purchase a pharmacy drug.
Tick repellents for children
Tick repellents are the very chemicals that, when used correctly, will help keep ticks away from your baby. Do not use these drugs on children under three years of age. Because they are very toxic to a small child's body. From the age of three, repellent preparations can be used, but in no case should they be applied to the baby's skin.
