Regular reading. A reading habit begins to develop. You can also read after a walk and during lunch, when the child is not so active and takes what he read with interest.

TV and computer. Limit your baby's presence in front of the screen, or rather use a TV and a computer like a DVD to watch programs of your choice. So, you can independently control what the child is watching and how much time he spends in front of the screen.
Step 4
Book selection. The choice of books should be in accordance with the interests of the child. If a boy is into superheroes, adventure stories are just for his taste. The girl loves to dress up and play with dolls, fairy tales of princesses are an excellent choice. In each book, in each story, the kid will learn something new and the circle of interests will expand.
Step 5
We buy books. A joint trip to the bookstore should be a pleasure for the child. Let me sometimes choose a book of his choice on the condition that it will be read. It is not necessary to buy all the books in the store, you can limit yourself to the library, in which the child will choose several options at once on different topics.

Reading by roles. You can turn reading into a real pleasure by imitating the characters. Making sounds of animals, parodying an evil pirate, all the reincarnations will not leave the kid indifferent. You can just read the roles with your child and give him the opportunity to portray characters.

Parents, the best role model. Let the child more often see a book or magazine in your hands, this is a better motivation than forced reading.
