What is good health? Health is a condition that goes beyond, say, the absence of sore throat, SARS or headaches. It is certainly good not to get sick, but health has another, non-physical side. Intrigued? Let's not torment: the subject of our today's reflection will be the strengthening of the health of the nervous system.

Why is it customary to pay so much attention to this system? Yes, because it is so important that the slightest malfunction of the baby's well-being (severe overwork, lack of sleep, inappropriate nutrition or weakness related to health) instantly deprives both children and their parents of quiet everyday life and joyful weekends. And therefore, the nervous system of babies must be developed and thoroughly strengthened.

Bedtime story

The role of these truly magical minutes spent with the baby can hardly be overestimated. However, we are used to thinking of fairy tales as some kind of magical story told to the baby before bedtime. In fact, the essence of the tale is much broader.

In addition to narration, which means broadening one's horizons, an evening story can relieve nervous and muscular tension, prepare the body and mind of the crumbs to fall asleep, begin this transition from wakefulness to night bliss and, of course, saturate the perception with new bright images, which can then become pleasant childhood dreams.

However, not every fairy tale can be a suitable bedtime story. This title is awarded only to the one that is read in a quiet, slightly chesty voice, turning into a whisper. And only the one in which there are gradually fewer verbs, that is, actions, and more adjectives, that is, descriptions that start the work of tireless imagination, turning into dreams. It is such a fairy tale that will pacify the baby, bring his nervous system to a state of complete rest.

Offer your little listener a fairy tale of your own composition about the journey of the cilia sisters to the land of rosy cheeks and sleepy eyes, or about colorful rainbow fairies extracting sweet nectar for every part of the toddler's body. Such nectar will certainly relieve fatigue from the arms and legs, put a pink fluffy cloud under each plump finger and gently fingering the golden curls on the babies' heads.

Water treatments and children's swimming

The nervous system is distributed throughout all parts of the body, and they need good nutrition in the form of blood supply and relaxation (i.e. relaxation). Nature has already taken care of the relaxation of the nervous system, imprisoning the baby at an early stage of development almost in personal weightlessness. That is, into the water. The baby in the prenatal period "swims" in the amniotic fluid and feels comfortable. Then the environment of his stay changes. But of course, relaxation in water remains at the level of cellular memory - this is why all children love to take baths so much!

So, make sure that the crumbs have daily access to "big water" - for this it is enough to remove the baby bath and leave the "adult" for use. Pour water up to the upper drain hole, run the baby along with toys into warm comfortable water and look after the happy bathing child. Then he will do everything himself.

Water has the most beneficial effect on the body, relieves stress from the back, arms, legs, neck, face and deep internal muscles. And if you want to add an element of hardening to your daily routine, turn on the shower and slightly lower the temperature of the water.
