We often go with our children to the forest, park, to the river bank. Any walk can be turned into exciting creativity, showing children different types of leaves, herbs, flowers and telling them what, when and how to collect for application. The imagination of children is limitless, and they absorb the information they receive with great interest.
What do you need?
After the walk, the collected material is sorted and laid out between the pages of books or in newspapers. It is even better to use blotting paper for this purpose.
In the process of work, it is best to use PVA glue and a brush, which must be thoroughly rinsed. For the base, white or colored thick paper from children's kits, cardboard, black photographic paper is used.
Application sequence
Plant material is laid out on paper, which serves as a background, and a composition is drawn up in the central part. Then they ate their contours noticeably with a pencil. After that, the plants are removed and they begin to glue them in accordance with the plan, trying not to violate the boundaries of the pencil marks. Let's look at some examples of applique creation.
Squared pattern
Prepare white or colored squares, cut out according to the template. With thin pencil lines, outline the center, diagonal and center lines, so that the image is neat and symmetrical.
Circle pattern
For this composition, as well as for the previous one, circles for the background are cut out according to the template. The circle is drawn into equal segments. The closer to the center, the larger the elements of the composition should be.
Butterfly
Making butterflies for children is most interesting, since you can use flower petals of any size, fully realizing your fantasies. For these purposes, rose petals, peony, and pansies are well suited. The body of a butterfly can be made from a willow leaf, antennae - from a vine.
Small fish
The body of the fish and the fins are the forsythia leaves matched in size, the tail of the rosehip leaves. A worm sticks out of the fish's mouth - a grape tendril.
