Ability types

Talented individuals show better results in any activity, compared to other people. As many types of activity are found, there can be as many abilities. A person can excel in academia, acting, or politics. He can show his best qualities in studying and mastering languages, achieve high results in sports.

Abilities can be general or special. General ability should be understood as good memory, quick wits, perseverance or sociability. Special abilities involve narrowly focused activities such as art, music, science.

Ability building

The development of abilities can be influenced by the knowledge and skills of a person, but only as a faster disclosure of hidden potential. The very same knowledge and skills that a person acquires in the process of life cannot be called abilities. The ability to do something quickly and efficiently, or good knowledge of the essence of the subject does not yet speak about the abilities of the individual. Knowledge can be obtained as a result of "cramming", and skills can be acquired as a result of frequent and relatively long time of performing the same type of operations. As a result, actions can be performed quickly and professionally, but capable people will still show much better results.

Personal predisposition

A person's abilities are manifested in those areas to which he is most predisposed. This is due to the individual interests of the individual and the level of development of his inclinations. The inclinations of a personality are innate and unchanged. But if a person does not pay attention to them, they will remain undisclosed, which means that they will not be transformed into specific personality abilities.

The inclinations can be multivalued and fully manifest only in the process of a person's involvement in any activity. One innate talent can manifest itself both in creativity and creative thinking, and in the ability to quickly learn foreign languages and easily find a common language in a team.

If a person from birth has a predisposition to any activity, in psychology this is called the inclinations of a personality. Only on condition that a person begins to engage in this activity will individual abilities be revealed in him, which will lead to the achievement of high results and success.
