The development of a child's speech at the age of two is one of the most important tasks of parents. It is during this period that many babies begin to talk. Therefore, you need to properly structure classes with your son or daughter.

Step 1
Talk to your child more to develop speech. Discuss your actions, describe your environment, talk about objects, talk as much as possible. Try to keep your speech clear and understandable. You should not lisp with your child and distort words. Try to avoid an abundance of diminutive suffixes. Expand your baby's vocabulary - do not use only words that he understands in conversation with him.
Step 2
Read books with your baby. Do not limit yourself solely to the text in the publication, describe the pictures, ask according to the drawing. If your toddler is only saying yes and no so far, ask closed-ended questions. When your child knows how to portray animal sounds, ask him to join during your reading if familiar characters appear in a fairy tale or poem. So, for example, you can tell a story about a chicken ryab together. Let the son or daughter in the right places say "ko-ko-ko", "pee-pee-pee", depicts knocking and crying.
Step 3
Listen to poems, audio stories and songs with your child. Attend children's shows. It is good if your child will communicate with children a little older than himself. If your playmates are already speaking tolerably well, then your kid will soon master the speech. Don't forget to develop fine motor skills.
Step 4
Develop articulation towards the child. Teach him to blow, for example, using soap bubbles. Place your baby in front of the mirror and sit next to it. Show him different positions of teeth, lips and tongue and ask him to repeat. Much will not work out right away. But even if the child just makes faces, this is already a result for the development of speech as a whole.
Step 5
Try to have your baby repeat sounds and words after you. Pay attention to which words he likes or makes him laugh. These are the ones you should repeat more often. Choose words that are made up of those syllables that your child can already speak and teach them to pronounce them. For example, if your toddler can say "po" and "ka", you can teach him to say the whole word "bye". Be patient. What seems obvious and elementary to an adult can be quite a challenge for a child.
