You may have noticed a difference in his perception: the first time he did not listen to the narration at all. The book was not interesting to him. But at a later age, the child listened to your reading with great interest, or he himself read the same book with rapture. What is the matter here? After all, the content of the book has not changed. Just by the time of the second reading, the child had already grown up and was ready to accept the offered information.

The situation is similar with school enrollment. So that the learning process in the first grade does not become a terrible hard labor for a child, according to the level of his age development, he must already be ready to go to school. But is it possible to test a child's readiness for school? Of course. The best way to do this is to take a close look at the child's behavior and activities. In early childhood, from 2 to 6 years old, his main activity is play.
Step 2
At about 6-7 years old, the main activity of the child begins to change. Just do not expect that he will overnight by himself throw all the toys and sit down at the desk. Of course, the child continues to play, but learning is already becoming a priority for him. At this point, take a closer look at what the child is playing. If these are rather complex role-playing games that simulate real life, for example, to a doctor, to the same school, then the child is most likely ready for school.
Step 3
Try to invite your child to complete some tasks that are close to educational, but in a playful way. At the same time, there is no need to inform the child about your intentions to "test" him for his readiness to go to school. Let him do them just like that.
Step 4
Choose tasks for concentration of attention (For example, find 10 differences between two pictures.), Logic of thinking (Which object is superfluous from the whole series drawn or listed and why?), Imagination (Let him come up with, for example, animals of the future or transport of the future, and so on.).

One of the indirect indicators of school readiness is the desire to receive grades. There is no point grading system in kindergarten. However, if a child seeks to receive grades for completing any assignments, he is probably ready for school.
Step 6
