At the age of 2, this moment is not so important. Believe me, later the child will decide himself, but for now there is no need to hinder his development.

Ignore the way he holds a felt-tip pen or pen. Some parents strive to teach the child to hold the pencil correctly at once and this only discourages drawing. If you think that the kid does not like to create paintings and does not show absolutely any interest in this type of creativity, just try to give him other materials. You can draw not only with pencils or felt-tip pens on paper. Let him draw with his fingers with paint, with crayons on a slate board or asphalt, with his hand on a plate with semolina. This is also creativity.
Step 3
For the development of creative abilities at 2 years old, a special modeling dough or soft plasticine is useful. Let the baby learn to roll out the material, pinch off small pieces from it, connect several parts into one whole. Show how you can create applications from plasticine, cut out various figures from the dough using special molds. Create various appliques with your baby. Start with simple options, such as paintings made entirely of circles. In addition to paper, for such activities, you can take cotton wool, dry leaves, various cereals and many other materials at hand. You do not need any glue or scissors, and the child will see the basic principle of this type of creativity.

Games with constructors can also be attributed to classes for the development of creative abilities. They help develop the baby's imagination. At the age of two, the material can be either special sets or just cubes. The main thing is to avoid too small details.
