As the baby grows and develops, his interests and hobbies change. He acquires all kinds of skills, develops, learns. Often, parents record only the physical growth of the child, which can be seen by looking at the photos or watching the video. Often the spiritual achievements of the crumbs remain behind the scenes: drawings, plasticine crafts, funny statements. To preserve the memory of the development of a preschooler for many years, you should start collecting a portfolio.

Instructions

Step 1

A preschooler's portfolio is like a folder of achievements. With its help, you can show the success of the child, evaluate the strengths in his development, and also note the skills and abilities that need to be improved. Therefore, a portfolio should also carry a functional load, and not just be a colorful album.

Step 2

As a rule, a portfolio makes it possible to record the child's changes both physically and spiritually for a certain period of time, helps to maintain educational goals, i.e. decide what and why we teach the baby. In addition, the portfolio should ensure the continuity of the child's development from year to year, as well as show the full range of his achievements.

Step 3

Portfolio design should start with preparing the album. A binder folder with a hard crust is perfect for it. As the baby grows and develops, new sections can be added to it, it is better to place each sheet in a separate file, then the portfolio will be preserved for many years. The work on the “book of achievements” should be carried out with the child, taking into account his wishes and opinions.

Step 4

Typically, a preschooler's portfolio includes the following sections: "It's me!", "I'm growing", "My family", "The world around us", "My hobbies", "My fantasies", "Soon to school" and others. Of course, you can adjust them, swap them, taking into account the needs and capabilities of the growing baby. The portfolio should start with the title page, which will indicate the basic information about the child.

Step 5

The next section can be called "Getting to know me." Here you can reflect information about the place and date of birth of the baby, the dynamics of his height and weight, choice of name, achievements for each year, mastering new skills and abilities.

Step 6

This section should consist of several blocks, in which it is possible to note the participation of the crumbs in various performances, competitions, sports competitions, visits to museums, circuses, zoos, and describe the baby's impressions of what he saw. Be sure to add to each event a couple of photos of the child, a rhyme told at the matinee or a song sung, because in the future it will be so interesting for him to plunge back into the world of childhood.
