SNILS (or pension certificate) is one of the documents that parents will need to issue for a newborn. Without SNILS, the child will be denied access to a wide range of services.
It is necessary
- - application in the form of ADV-1;
- - birth certificate of the child;
- - passport of one of the parents.
Instructions
Step 1
Many parents have a reasonable question: why does a child need SNILS, if his pension will be formed only when he reaches the age of majority. In fact, a personal account number will be required to issue a medical policy, make an appointment with a doctor in electronic form, receive benefits, various social benefits, and other services.
Step 2
To issue SNILS, you first need to download and fill out an ADV-1 application. The form can be found on the official website of the FIU. In the application, indicate information about the child: full name, gender, date and place of birth, citizenship, registration and residence addresses, contact phone numbers and details of the birth certificate. It remains to certify the document with your signature.
Step 3
In Russia, the possibility of electronic filing of an application for obtaining SNILS with the PFR is not currently provided. This option is not implemented either on the State Service website or on the official website of the fund. One of the parents must personally apply for SNILS and pick it up. The only plus is that the presence of the child himself is not required.
Step 4
Submit the completed ADV-1 application along with copies of your passport and birth certificate to the authorized body. This could be the FIU or the MFC. In the latter case, you can save time and pre-register for the set time to complete the application.
Step 5
SNILS will be ready within three weeks after the transfer of the package of documents. You just have to pick it up from the Pension Fund. The MFC is not responsible for issuing a document, they only submit applications to government agencies.
