A home or summer cottage performance can be an interesting common affair that can make family or neighbors friends. Once upon a time, such performances were very popular. Why not revive them, especially if there are many children in your country or courtyard environment who will surely like this idea? By the way, you can put on an interesting performance on your own at school or in a kindergarten.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose a fairy tale. If your dacha theater is just in its infancy, it is better if the fairy tale will be familiar to children. In this case, there is usually not so much time for learning the roles; in a familiar fairy tale, you can improvise, because the other participants know the plot well and will not get confused.

Step 2

Write a script. First, indicate the approximate location and possible setting. For example, like this: “Forest clearing. There is a hut on chicken legs among the trees”. Break the story down into scenes that require different decorations. In the first act, the viewer sees the hut on chicken legs from the outside, in the second - from the inside. Make a list of the decorations you need and see how you can make them.

Step 3

List the characters. As a rule, they are in a fairy tale, but you can come up with new ones. The main thing is that they fit the topic and that everyone has an action. In Charles Perrault's fairy tale "Cinderella" there is no page, but in the Soviet film he is, and he became one of the most famous characters.

Step 4

Record the dialogues. You can take those that are already in the fairy tale, you can supplement them or compose yourself. It is possible that one of the actors will complete something in the course of the action or improvise directly during the performance. For each character, come up with actions and write them down in the script

Step 5

Arrange a script reading. Read it in full, with all the directions, so that the actors can properly represent the setting. First read the entire performance two or three times. Then give everyone the roles and read the tale by role. When the actors remember the lyrics well, try

Step 6

Think about the music and what songs and dances the characters will perform. For a Russian folk tale, folk songs are suitable, the heroes of European fairy tales can dance medieval dances. But you can go the other way - to take modern pieces of music for the performance.

Step 7

Make decorations. Anything can do for this. A summer cottage performance can generally be staged in the open air, using real trees and real sky as decorations. If you are staging a performance in a gazebo or shed, make a backdrop out of a piece of burlap or other suitable fabric. Decorations can be drawn, cut out of paper, made from natural materials.

Step 8

Think about what suits you will have. They do not have to be sewn completely. There will surely be something suitable in the wardrobe of each participant in the performance. For a cat, you need a black or gray suit, the fox can be in a short skirt, to which a long red tail of their foam rubber or tinsel is attached. It is better to make masks or hats for everyone. They will also be needed if all the actors have the same costumes - for example, black leotards.

Step 9

Rehearse the tale first with each actor individually, then separate scenes. At the end, it is imperative to rehearse the whole tale as a whole, and preferably several times. Perform the last couple of rehearsals in costumes and full music. If everything worked out, you can invite guests.
